Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service in person, by phone, or by email at all times. • Assist with payroll processing and various HR and Payroll responsibilities as assigned. • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures. • Manage multiple incoming phone calls and monitor general voicemail and email inboxes. • Field guest inquiries and accurately record bakery and to go orders. • Manage reservations using Open Table. • Provide direct support to management and owner operators by scheduling meetings, appointments, and generating reports as requested. • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner. • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs. • Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition. Deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures. • Maintain inventory of office and operational supplies. • Fill in where needed to ensure that the guest service standards are met and that operations are run efficiently. • Other duties and projects as determined.Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented with strong basic math skills and an eye for accuracy. • Highly organized and able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks and projects. • Positive attitude with passion for food and hospitality. • Experience using Open Table is preferred.Working Conditions and Expectations: • Work schedule may require weekends and holidays. • Always act in a professional manner that represents the restaurant, owners, partners and staff. • Demonstrate teamwork in all areas of the restaurant. • Work with a positive attitude in all types of situations. • Follow safety and sanitation rules and laws at all times.
